Some of my favourite action films since 2000

I've not really been much of a fan of some of the post-Armageddon long-assed action sequences, often filled with slow motion, and don't really go anywhere. But here are some action films that I really like. Not in any order.

1. Kingsman


2. Shoot Em Up


3. Wolverine (yes, that one - technically it's a superhero film, but I find it plays out more like an action film)


4. Deadpool 2 (and this one is more action than superhero too. Also, the first Deadpool's great too)


5. Kung Fury (the entire film is half an hour, it's below:


6. Mission Impossible 6 (Probably mostly labeled as a spy film, this one is very actiony)


7. Taken


8. Blade 2


9. Kick-Ass

The Raid &The Raid 2 plz

I haven't seen either, but have only heard good things. I'll check them out.

Also, while on the topic of superhero characters, I forgot Blade 2 came out after 2000. Still, I'd categorize it as a kickass action flick rather than another shitty blockbuster superhero film.

That also reminds me, Kick-Ass.

Bob Odenkirk as an action star should be fun.
This looks like a cross between Shoot Em Up, North By Northwest, and the Bourne Identity.
I haven't seen it yet, but will.
