My friend is in the process of getting his free Ipod.

I usually think this crap is a scam but there are news articles on it being legitimate, which is awesome if it's all true. Plus, I figure, it can't hurt if it is true. I did the AOL sign up and I've now got an actual AOL account so that part is legit.

That way I can get the referrals I need.

Basically, you sign up at the website. You then fulfill some offer (most are free if you cancel within the free trial period). I'm doing the free AOL account because it's free as long as I cancel in the 50 days and I know how to handle AOL customer support people. Then you get 5 people to do the same thing through your referral link and you're golden.
