<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I had no idea that since Bush and Cheney were both residents of the same state (Texas) this disqualified them from receiving the electoral votes of the Texas' electoral college. Hell, if we had actually gone by the constitution, then Texas's electoral votes (Texas being the most populous Republican dominated state) that would have gone to Bush would have been discounted and Gore would have clearly won the election. This is even without having to win Florida.
