• Sonic Adventure 2 confirmed for GameCube. :)

 • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

It is using DVD format. The size, however, is that of a CD-Single (the three inch ones that all players support) so it's about two and a half gigs of space.

...while it certainly is something I never thought I'd see, it's not that huge of a coup for Nintendo. Why you ask? Well, having played Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast, it would require a major overhaul to be something other than an average game, and it pales in comparison to the brilliance of the original. The Sonic areas are awesome and probably worth the admission price, but the rest of the character's adventures really blow. Imagine Sonic Adventure 1 if all the other chatacters scenarios were as thrilling and fun to play as Big the Cat's and you have Sonic Adventure 2...and don't forget an even sloppier camera and looser control. Not Sonic Team's brightest moment, but not surprising considering how many games they're putting out in short periods of time...
