<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It'll be shipped on October 30. That's surprisingly fast relative to when the website went up.
I have this feeling that it's going to be like the old Civilzation 2 except now we'll have more balance problems. Making the civilization differentiated usually means some civilizations will be stronger. I can't see how, for example, the attribute of getting more goodies from huts can possibly be good even through the mid game unless more goodies means like every 1 out of 2 hut you find is a free city or a free technology.
Also, did anyone think the special units are screwed up? I pity the civilization that gets the special warrior as their civilization unit. From what I've seen so far, the Iroquis have the best, the 3/1/2 Horseback Warrior as opposed to the 2/1/2 version.</div>
