<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>I played no games all semester (better things to do), so being back here with no one really around, I decided to play some games. Unlike some of you, I don't have a PS2 or a Gamecube, so I'm stuck with SNES and PS games. I only played Xenogears once, so why not?
Eh. I got about 15 hours in and decided I'd rather replay FF8 instead. I adored Xenogears the first time through, but I just don't have the patience for it now. Name your complaint with the game, and I'll probably agree with you, just with the reservation that I really liked it the first time. I swear actual game time to story time is at a ratio of 30 minutes of story to an hour of gameplay. Then there's the unnecessary stuff the characters are always saying, and they say it so slowly.
At first, I didn't agree that they should remake the game (after they got through the first three games), but now, I'm thinking they really should. I can now see how in many ways how this was an almost-but-not-quite-there implementation of a great idea.</div>
