<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>Same story, same mansion but with additional hallways, a new intro that's quite intense, new rooms, new "puzzles" (I prefer to call them - problem solving), rooms that used to be available like from the original RE require new keys....and the zombies are stronger and even after they've been "killed"....becareful later on *wink wink* .
Graphics are phenomenal, of course. Controls are the same, although the crapy D-pad on the gamecube controller are for Smurfs. It's a bit harder to control coz of the teeny weeny D-pad! >8^| New feature : you can switch targets in places where there are multiple monsters (I didn't play RE : Code Veronica if that had this feature already).
The realistic shadows are a welcome addition. It adds to the creepy factor as your shadows move about in the room, depending on your position to the candle or lights.
For RE vets, this is harder than the RE that you first played. You may not be as scared like before - but for newbies, they probably will be. =8^D
So far, the game is excellent! I need to get a controller converter for my Gamecube so I can play the PS2 Dual Shock controller on this game. It'll make things a lot easier as far as controlling the characters.</div>
