  • Man, I never even knew they were THINKING of this. HOw's this for a waste of tax dollars?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

According to Gamespot, they're spending $7 million. I wouldn't be surprised if that amount is comporable to how much they spend on their television ad campaigns, as this is an elaborate advertisement for the US Army.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Isn't it ironic that they're using a Canadian developed game engine for a US Propaganda game?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Ha! They are using a Canadian developed game engine, can't they develop their own? Then again, American Game Developers were never known for their skill, unless you consider Quake and Doom to be good games =)</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The buzz from E3 at Penny Arcade is that America's Army: Operations looks like one of the best FPS team shooters out there. It has both voice commands and silent hand signals, making LOS between you and your comrades important, the weapons are incredibly realistic, etc.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I find it ironic that a government agency would make a violent video game when so many politicians are openly trying to censor them. We all know why they're doing it (what better way to appeal to the kids while spreading your propoganda?), but still, it's so politically incorrect</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Each team is the Marines and each team sees the others as "terrorists". THat's propodanda at its most blatant, considering the word "terrorist" is so damned subjective. Not to mention it's promoting violence</div>
