<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You mean on IRC? Your PC is in greater danger just being connected to the net...(this point would be more dramatic if your PC was Online right now and I could probe the ports, but it isn't ; ).
Basically, the ONLY ways to get a virus on IRC would be:
- Not having a firewall/Anti-virus
- Opening something that someone you don't know sent you (like happy.vbs ; ). Though files with these malicious extensions are auto blocked with the software I had people download.
- Believing and following instructions when some loser sends you the message: "You have been infected with a trojan virus. Please go to
www.angelfire.com/anti-trojan/trojan-cleaner.exe
- Actually believeing (and typing) when someone sends you the message: "To stop spam, type: //DECODE ---->various mirc code here<-----
