  • So what games has everyone been playing this Summer?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>1) SSX Tricky (Gamecube)
2) Fire Pro Wrestling (GBA)
3) Soul Calibur (Dreamcast)

Those are probably the three I've put the most time into. SSX Tricky got the most mainly because anyone whose really sat down to play it has got hooked on the single player mode. SSX Tricky and Soul Calibur, two games that work extremely well as multiplayer games, play until you lose and pass the controller on. FirePro on the otherhand, you can sit down for hours and try to wow the crowd in the Audience Mode (just wish it had the fabled career mode from older versions).

Actually Tony Hawk III has got a lot of playtime, but by other people, I just don't really like that game series, I mainly bought the game because other people like the series and I like to be a good host.

For Single Player games, I guess I've been playing a lot of Dragon Warrior III, Eternal Darkness, and Warcraft III. Not really much to say on those that hasn't already been said, all of them are worth playing through. The thing is I think I've been playing DW3 for over 80 hours now total, I've been playing it since last year. Baramos wasn't the last boss, I never beat him on the NES version, I had no idea the game was so long.

Still looking forward to FirePro Wrestling (Gamecube), which could possibly be the best Wrestling game ever though I don't think it's due out for a long time; Animal Crossing (Gamecube) which I know I'll love, mainly because I've always liked games in that genre and this one goes a few hundred times deeper than Harvest Moon did; and that's about it for now except for maybe Castlevania. I'll probably have a chance to play more of Mario later, but right now I can't really get any significant playtime with the game because it's new and no one really wants to lend it out yet. Monkey Ball on the other hand, I think this game will really grow on me for the next 5-6 months. It's one of those games I'll still be playing a year and a half down the road.</div>
