  • So Metroid Prime has the original Metroid in it (unlocked via GBA and Fusion) and Legend of Zelda pre-orders come with Ocarina of Time. Makes me wonder what Nintendo will do for Mario 128.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Well Mario Sunshine was just really a small upgrade, and all the old Mario games are being rereleased for a nicer price on GBA...</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Sunshine was much more than a minor upgrade. It wasn't nearly the jump as 64 was over Mario World, but it was quite a bit more</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>As inaccurate as me stating that (for example) the graphics in Final Fantasy 9 are only a slight improvement over the graphics in Final Fantasy 1.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '><b>Link:</b> <a href="http://resonatorsoft.org/tows/cgi-bin/r ... 65.html</a>

And I'll also add that Mario 64 was much much easier than Mario Sunshine. There also weren't any extra's in Mario 64 that I can remember, there are tons of extra's in Mario Sunshine.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>It's about as different from 64 as Marvel vs Capcom 2 was over Street Fighter 2. Basically the same idea, but so much evolution in the gameplay.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>It was Mario64 with a water pack and less stages. The only reason it improved upon Mario64 at all was simply due to the improved technology. There was absolutely NO <i>actual</i> innovation in that game. It was one of the biggest disappointments I've ever experienced while gaming.</div>

While the graphics in FF9 are generally regarded to be better than in FF1, it is not a fact. It depends on what you think "better" means in this case.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Maybe there's someone out there who really likes the 8-bit feel to the FF1 graphics, as opposed to these new fandangled polygons. Hell with realism he says, 8-bit is where it's at, gives it more character (or something)! Hence, he honestly thinks FF1's graphics are better AND isn't lying through his teeth or is retarded. FACT.</div>
