  • Metroid Prime is a very satisfying experience. Highly reccomended.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Metroid Prime has a sense of exploration that I don't think I've felt in any other game. I love exploring a world, looking for clues. Super Metroid had some of that, but Prime was able to do it in a way not possible in 2D.

The controls are dead on. Jumping is easy. Targetting is natural. The only complaint I have is that sometimes in the thick of a boss battle, I experienced lag when switching weapons. That's about it.

It's a large game, lots to explore, good pacing of weapons and suit upgrades, smidgen of story, fitting atmosphere and extremely solid gameplay.

It's a fantastic game. If you have a GameCube, you have to at least rent it.</div>
