  • Nemisis pisses me the fuck off, anybody have tactics for killing his bitch ass?! I want all 8 special items!

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Run TOWARDS him. Yeah, towards. Even if he's running right at you. Nemesis usually tries to hit you with only one of his arms--can't remember whether it's his left or right--so run at the side he doesn't swing at you with. If it's his left, run at his right; if it's his right, run at his left. I wish I could remember which arm he uses, but it shouldn't be too hard for you to figure out.

And this is obvious, but don't try to fight him in a narrow corridor or anything like that. Lure him into an open area and try to run tight circles around him, stopping to fire everytime he swings and misses. And for god's sake, don't let him pick you up, since that does major damage. His running punch looks nasty, but it doesn't do nearly as much damage as you'd think.

I know there's a FAQ on Gamefaqs that has a lot of great pointers about how to fight him, so you might want to check there.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>There are a couple times when you get to play "Choose your own adventure" and select an option whenever Nemesis appears. If you fight him in the Restaurant, you'll be given the option of running into the basement or running around the counter. Do the second one, as Jill will put on her thinking cap and use a lamp to ignite leaking gas and knock Nemesis unconscious. Then you can walk around and grab his item. Watch out; he'll get back on his feet soon afterwards. If you want to be really cool, you can stick around have Jill and Carlos play tag-team and take him down at the same time--that way you don't have to worry about Nemmy following you all over goddamn Racoon City. Two problems with this: If Carlos dies, you die. And you don't get another item by beating him twice in such a short period of time.

If you fight Nemesis in the Newspaper building, select the option that has you hide around the corner. A freak firestorm will knock the big guy unconscious, and you can grab his item. And Carlos will be around, too, so if you want, you can wait around and fight him two-to-one.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Speaking of Limi Breaks, did you ever get the Lionheart Limit Break? I still haven't figured out what to do, I just want to get it to see it.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Oh please, for RE veterans such as ourselves, it's no problem.....my only problem with Nemisis now is his one two punch, he runs punches me, and before I can react picks me up. MAJOR DAMAGE, then I'm on the ground Jill doesn't get up quick enough and it's gameover!</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>If that happens, the only thing you can do is slam on the buttons, wiggle the pad/stick and hope she gets up fast enough. Usually you can pull it off, unless you're stuck in a corner or something.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>If I recall correctly, I think you only get the Lionheart limit break when you get the Lionheart sword, but damned if I remember how the heck to get that sword.

And the Lionheart limit break is worth seeing, let me tell you. If you do it right, it's kind of like Knights of the Round, but just with Squall.
