<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Just finished the first area. First of all, I'd like to say that the graphics and music definitely have that gothic CV feel, and the 3D versions of classic enemies are well designed and animated. Only gripe: a few rooms seem to repeat themselves a little too often.
Gameplay's a little mixed. You don't level up, so there's little incentive to fight through hordes of enemies, other than kicking ass, and that gets old rather quickly. Thankfully, you can skip through enemies once you've cleared a room for the first time. Instead, LoI has a combo system where you learn new moves as you progress in the game, and there are orbs that effect the subweapons. It's a nice ability system, but I still think the game would seem less repetitive if enemies gave experience.
That's all that comes to mind at the moment. In short, it's no SotN, but it's still worth it, especially if you love the series.</div>
