  • Well, D2 is getting boring again since i have HC chars 70+ and 30+.  I'm not all about mindless MF runs, so i'm thinking of getting FFXI tomorrow.  People still like it?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: bold 10pt ; text-align: left; '>get both :D

And yea, I'm lovin' FFXI, the involvement level in groups is great, you actually have to do more than mash buttons, it's all about timing.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Times New Roman"; text-align: left; '>Agreed, go ahead and get it. I'm holding off WC3 until the new patch comes out anyway.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>If you're willing to accept that FFXI is much, much more a grouping game than a solo one, yes.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>Yeah, thats fine. A game meant to be played in parties is fine. The problem with D2 is that it is capable of solo or team and people are item hunting freaks. I've decided to get it, a thief/ninja class looks interesting, what classes/jobs are you using?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>Actually a white mage looks good, too. I bet they never have any trouble finding a party... i'll have to read up on it but i'll probably do that instead of thief.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Thief is good. Thief main will have few problems getting groups AFTER level 15 (before then, you might have some problems getting into random groups; a good linkshell avoids that). Ninja as a sub is one of the preferred options for thieves, as I understand it.

White mage, no, you will never have problems getting groups. If you don't mind being the healer, and occasionally dealing with harassing tells at times, then you're good to go.

Best thing about FFXI is you can change jobs at your mog house at any time. The only permanent choice is race.</div>

<div style='font: bold 10pt ; text-align: left; '>and just be warned that even tho this game focuses on grouping, expect to solo till level 10 or so, since grouping just gives shit xp until then anyways.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>You can change parties on the fly can't you? What the problem is?</div>
