  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Actually it's an awesome deal, for 300 bucks (200 USD) you get a handheld game system superior (104 Mhz) to the GBASP (like the GBA SP it comes with a battery pack) with games like Splinter Cell, Virtua Tennis, EA sports titles, etc..; a portable MP3 player and radio, and a high end cell phone</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You do realize it's only a decent cell phone, takes about a minute to change games (you have to disassemble it), about 30 seconds to boot a game, and has a horrible games selection? There's a reason the GB always won even though it was the inferior system technically</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I checked the line-up (and future line-up) and it just doesn't look that appealing for $200 when I get a cell phone for free and can get an MP3 player for $50 (I did).</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Also, its game selection is fairly decent for a brand new product with no real reputation yet.</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>*sigh* Yes, because that is the sole marker of a better system. That doesn't mean anything if there are no interesting games for it (and I haven't seen any or heard of any coming out that are)</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>We'll see how it does. If they can get some must-have games, it could do very well. And that is good for a non-gaming company.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>It sold 5000 in its first week in North America, and not much better in Europe. There's a reason there's been a major price drop 3 weeks after release (and that includes packaging it with games). It's been an incredible disappointment. I have no clue where you got your numbers from</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Try one, and ask them to change games for you, then you'll never want one. It's the worst design EVER</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Those numbers were reported by Nokia and are posted on ngage.ign.com. As I recall, you were the one who stated the Ngage was $450 to further your argument, which is more than twice as much as it actually costs.</div>
