<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>I got Garuda server. I forgot to do Tort's trick and when i realized it i idnt feel like backing up and doing it all over again. Its OK though, Garuda is well populated and full of nice people.
As far as MMORPG's go that i have played this one has started me out with the best feeling. It took a bit to learn the controls but once that was down i had a blast.
I wandered the town of Bastok (Hume WMG right now, might end up being a BSTamer/WMG in the end) and once i had the central locations down i did the first mission and tried o do some side quests. Once tired of all that i went outside of the town and started to fight.
I have to agree with Tort on this one that its GREAT to be able to play this game with just one hand on the numkeys. After getting the basics down in battling and reaching lvl 4 i headed back into town where i figured out to use the best feature in the game, the auction house.
What a great idea, i love the auction house. I found some good weapons and armor for my mage to use that the town doesnt sell and even made a ton of money on stuff i found fighing. I put a fire crystal up for auction t $50 and got $300! I put a bat wing up for $100 and got $2000!!! People are idiots sometimes i think. All in all i must have made about $3500 on selling crappy stuff and then bought some good spells and equip for my mage.
I had to log out at this point but i am excited to fire it up again, a feeling i didnt have with DAoC and E&B. Leave it to Square to make me happy. Although i will admit that with all MMORPG it felt impossible to start at first, but once i learned the town and the controls and how to do some stuff i felt like a player and am now ready for more.</div>
