  • Wow, this game is looking incredible, by the details provided about the game, and the graphics, it looks like this one will be one of the most entertaining game experiences of the year. I have a lot of new found respect for CAPCOM.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Shit Resident Evil is the whole reason I GOT a Gamecube. I'm excited.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt georgia; text-align: left; '>What. The. Fuck. That article contradicts everything I've read so far about RE4! It's like RE: Snake Eater! What happened to the empty European headquarters and the shadow creatures? What's with that weird perspective? WHAT'S GOING ON?>!!! It does look nice, though.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Pretty radical re-imagining of the series, I'd say. I have high hopes, but I'll be pissed if they don't resolve some of the main story arcs from the previous games.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I gather Mikami, the producer, wasn't happy with the way things were going and decided shake everything up. (Reminds me of what happened with Resident Evil 2, which winded up being considerably different from early screens.)</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>If it plays half as well as it could and has the atmosphere for the RE remake, it'll be amazing</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>I think CAPCOM liked the uber zombie from the remake of RE. Similar to the souped up zombies in 28 Days Later and the upcoming remake "Dawn of the Dead".</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>BTW.....I don't think slow moving zombies would pose much of a danger with today's modern guns. In fact, a ten foot pole should be suffient to knock down 20 slow zombies.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Yeah but RE2 rocked and was the best in the series, so what's the problem?</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I liked the first one better myself. Don't care much for the controls in any survival horror, so to me it's all about the atmosphere and the first was the best, particularly the remake, outside of Silent Hill</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>No problem whatsoever so long as the game is good.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Type C control in the RE remake on Gamecube was bloody uber. I'd have jumped all over Zero and the remakes if they'd offered it.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I don't remember all the specifics, but I do remember that forward movement was one of the trigger buttons, so you could easily turn and run together. Seemed very intuitive</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>When I played RE2 way back when, I had no problem with the controls, but when I tried out RE0 about a year ago, I really didn't like 'em. I guess at that point I had played 3D games with much better control.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>The RE controls are passable at best. But that doesn't take away from the experience of survival horror games (same with Silent Hill), which is a unique genre in that regard</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Bah whatever, as long as I have a PSX controller I can twerk those controls. :P</div>
