  • Official US release list for the DS. Some interesting stuff in there (first-party not included)

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 9pt "copperplate gothic light"; text-align: left; '>All the other GB Castlevania games have been 2D. I can't really imagine this one being any diffrent.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>What I would really like to see is a game along the lines of Castlevania III; where once finishing a level you can choose your own path to follow with the next level will be different depending on the path you pick. With the knowledge and experience Konami has now, they could advance greatly on that system and put a lot of story into it. It gives the game a lot of replay value. I like that system a lot better than just having one giant castle to explore Metroid style; like the newer Castlevanias on GBA and Symphony of the Night.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You'll almost for sure see a SotN-type, they sell quite well</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I think the traditional type would sell as well (Castlevania III, I don't know the numbers, but I know a lot of people had the game). Either way, I just hope they try something different with the new one rather than just making a slightly evolved version of the already existing formula.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>New, straight 2-d platformers just won't sell nowadays, it's almost has to be Metroid-style (to "increase value") or a retro game rereleased</div>
