Picked up Beyond Good and Evil and the Hobbit. I have only played the Hobbit so far, and have made it to the Misty Mountains....

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It's a fairly average Platformer style game, but I find the levels to be fairly fun. I enjoy the setting. All characters in the game are voice acted, including side characters (such as the people of Hobbiton) and all dialogue (there's a lot of narration) is also voice acted. The soundtrack is surprisingly good, I am surprised that a game of this level has a soundtrack to rival up there with Japanese RPG's. I don't think the game will be very long, I am anticipating something in the range of 6-10 hours. There are a lot of save points, I recommend using every single one, because it is easy to die in this game if you are not careful. So far I haven't had any major dificulty getting through except the first time I fought a real battle (against these Frog Creatures) near the beginning. The game has a lot of puzzles, and a LOT of side quests.

I find the game to be a lot of fun so far.

As for Beyond Good and Evil, I'll wait and see on that one.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Like you, I also converted the Handmaiden, and recently, when Atton's past came out on Nar Shaddaa I was able to convert him too. I've had Light Mastery going on for a while now (being a Guardian/Weaponmaster, that +6 Strength bonus sure doesn't hurt) and I accumulated quite a bit of influence with him, so that may be why that happened.

Now that you mention it, I wonder if the other non-Jedi, non-droid characters can be converted as well? (Don't tell me if they can or not - I'm going to read an FAQ after I beat the game once, so if I don't do it the first time around, I should be able to the second.) Hm...now that I think about it, I should have more conversations with Mira - being a light Jedi, I think Mandalore is probably impossible.

Speaking of Mandalore...am I insane, or is Mandalore really Canderous? There's been mention as to how Mandalore wasn't always Mandalore - I somehow managed not to ask him about that in my first conversation with him on Dxun (although I could always load an old save if I wanted to) - and after I got back from Onderon the first time, one of my conversation options was "Isn't clan Ordo enough for you?" (regarding Mandalore's decision to look for more clans). Also, the voice actor sounds exactly the same - took me a little while to pick up on it with Mandalore's distortion, but I eventually recognized it. So did I just miss the big revelation during that first conversation, or are they holding that one off for later? (You can answer this one, I don't mind.)
