I read this article in USA Today and couldn't help but laugh a little. Not more than a weeek before it ran, I had already brought up the topic of this particular song with a friend of mine. I was wondering why "The Middle" got so much play time when, really, it hardly seemed like Jimmy's best effort on their new album. I'd much rather hear the title track "Bleed American" or "A Praise Chorus."
I just kind of got a chuckle out of the fact that the band seemed to agree with me.
