  • Alright, I saw Austin Powers, and I don't really know what a few of you are thinking, but this one is definetly the funniest of the three.

  • Your favorite band sucks, and you have terrible taste in movies.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>No, it's definetly funnier than the other two. I don't think there's even much of a question about it. You're not one of those anti-sequel people who think T1 is better than T2 are you?</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Arnold was a better "bad guy"...

Again, I think Austin Powers 3 was nowhere near as good as the other two...didn't flow...tried too hard...and most of the people I know in RL agree.

However...there are a few that swear it is the BEST of the bunch.

Hit or miss, I guess...</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Given your love of Titanic, and Seekers love of Kurt Russel pseudo-surfing in front of a bad blue screen...I can understand why you freaks can like T2 and it's cheesy touching moment between a boy and his robot at the end, more than T1...

Me...I didn't buy it...

I wish you both could self-terminate...

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>What was it about T2 you guys liked better...?

- Arnold as a good guy?
- John Connor's 1337 hacking skillz with an ATM?
- Little John's wholely believable 'junior rebel with a dirt bike' persona?
- Lame teaching-the-terminator-how-to-be-human ("Now I know why it is you cry..")?
- Sarah's stupid 'meeting the ghost of Kyle' scene?
- The terribly obvious token black guy?
- The Terminator smile (Ok, I laughed at this one)?
- Improved sfx and the T-1000 (this is about the only thing I can agree with)?

I'm not saying T2 is a bad movie (I mean, I bought the pricey DVD)...but I can't understand why you all think it's "better" than T1. The only guess I have are the better effects and the T-1000 character...very sweet. That guy [insert name] played his role well (granted, there was like no dialog, but still...).

Even that...I fail to see how it's a better movie? That's like saying Poltergeist 1 and Ghostbusters 1 are nowhere near as good as their better looking sequels...

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>That's because the second one lived off the first one as opposed to being a continuation of it. Kinda like what happened from Austin Power 2 to Austin Powers 3. I mean, Austin 3 was bad, but it just didn't touch the first two. Then you get your great sequels, that take what the first one did and build on it. Empire Strikes Back and Aliens are excellent examples, off the top of my head. But so it T2. And it's not just me and Seek, a LOT of people think the second is better. T1 is still an awesome movie, but T2 is one of the best action movies of all time.

BTW, the T1000 was played by Robert Patrick, better known as Agent Doggett from X-Files</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>T1 is full of plot holes, and you gotta admit, is Arnolds Cheesiest movie. Acting is really bad in it too. T2 has a lot of subtle parody on the orriginal Terminator movie, if you pay attention there's a lot of comedy in it, it's not 100% serious like the other one. T2 is very entertaining.</div>
