How else saw LOTR : TT tonight? I know i did!

Perhaps I'm alone in this...I couldn't help but feel as if The Two Towers just didn't "flow" properly. And yes, I realize that the companions have split up and their paths are currently seperate...but I don't think that's really what I mean. It's almost as if they did a butcher job in the editing process and ended up leaving waaaay too many poorly connected "book pieces"...scenes and events that either weren't really needed or simply didn't fit (examples in spoiler section).
Does anybody know what I mean?
Other than that, the SFX were absolutely AMAZING and the character Gollum completely stole the show (though Gimli provided a lot of comic relief).
Can't wait for the third...
Spoiler Message:
Ok...Gandalfs transition to White wasn't fleshed out nearly enough, Gandalfs summoning of the horse was just stupid and out of place, Aragorn's relationship with that chick is completely devoid of substance, the cloaks (and clip) - which were cut from the first - confused most people (and you know they only didn't cut it because they probably spent millions on that Black Gate scene), Boromirs brother's scene "City Law dictates your life is forfeit if you let them go" is not explained and thus entirely stupid, etc., etc.
Also....I think most of you will agree...there were way, WAY too many usless book facts/long drawn out names... You simply can't build the entire Trilogy history and feel within the structure of film (and frankly, JRR Tolkien did a half-assed, slap together job in the book anyway).
This is one of the few times I'd actually say this, but this movie should have been seriously 'dumbed down'.
