  • Anyone see the trailor for Timeline yet?  Oooo boy, i read it a couple years ago and it was great.  Too bad people will think its just jumping on the new medieval 'Harry Potter' 'Lord of the Rings' bandwagon to make a quick buck.

  • Your favorite band sucks, and you have terrible taste in movies.

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>I read it years ago too, great book. You're right though, people will thing it's a medieval bandwagon</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Well that's precisely what they're doing isn't it?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>I'm pretty sure this movie has been in production for years now. Just so happens that everything else came out a little faster.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It doesn't really matter if they are or aren't, if the movie's good, I'll see it =P Lord of the Rings has been extremely hyped for the last 5-6 years now though.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Another twin film (ie: 13th Floor, Vampires, Titan AE) overshadowed by a incredibly more powerful one (ie: Matrix, Blade, FF:tSW). They need to quit doing that.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The same Final Fantasy movie which debuted and peaked at #5 on the Box Office chart and generated a measily 30M in total sales? Oh well, it still ranks in the top 2000 best selling movies of all time =P</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>Vampires didn't do well because it wasn't good. It's a fun movie to watch on TBS for free, but not pay for in the theatres.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Blade and The Matrix I understand, but ummm Final Fantasy? Are you serious?</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>All of those movies were mediocre, which is sorta my point. If somebody has an original idea for the movie, you don't try to copy it just so that original idea can fuck you over at the box office.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Titan AE came out a couple years before FF:TSW, if I'm not mistaken, so I don't see how it could have been "overshadowed." It also made more money, I believe.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>Fair enough. I've often wondered why pairings like Volcando/Dante's Peak and Tombstone/Wyatt Earp happen.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I meant that Titan AE made more money, not the other way around.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>so Titan AE made over $30million?</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Actually, a quick search shows that it only made $22 million. For some reason, I thought it had made around $70. Turns out that was the production budget. My mistake.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Unless it has "Disney's" in front of it, it's not gonna do well in the movies...Hell even Peter Pan 2 made 50 mil, and it was horrible.</div>
