my friend bought me a lottry ticket and dropped it off at my house. I got home ( had to walk like three km from the bus stop ) and i saw it in my mailbox. I scratch it and i won 5000 bucks - no shit. 5000 bucks no tax man.... i ran over to pawn shop and bought my stuff back AT THE PRICE I SOLD IT AT... the guy tried to charge me like 500 bucks more,... i got so pissed and threatened him with a beating ( "I'll kick your fucking ass" i believe it was ) hahahahaahahah ( i know, im an asshole ) and i got all my shit back. Im paid up with rent and school until the end of school. I can't believe this!

I talked with the old man who hit my car today... he cut me a cheque for 2500 to cover damages, not going through insurance...... i cant beleieve i got out of this one.... there is a god, and he is a Canadian =)</div>

For example, when I was poor and out of a job at my apartment, I searched various places for a job. When stopped by my last stop (StupidAmerica), my car broke down. I couldn't really do much, so I applied for the job. I got the job, and it was only a block away, which was fortunate because I no longer had a ride, and all of the other applications fell through.

I worked there for five months (about the longest running job I had for a while). The exact last day over there (because they suddenly switched me to part-time) was the day I got a Mastercard, so that I could finally get my car fixed.

It's not the only time I've had money "fall in my lap". It's never been when I wanted it or when my money is good. Only when I -NEED- it. And the events surrounding the money have always been strange and mysterious. No explanation, no reason.

Fine. Maybe it's not divine. Maybe it's not spirits. Maybe it's fate. Maybe it's luck. Maybe it can be scientifically explained. But, for damn sake, at least ACKNOWLEDGE that it's strange and it's a phenomenon. It's people like you that give skeptics a bad name.</div>

Only to people who lack a basic grasp of probability.

As for everything else, you can play with numbers all you want to come up with patterns. Or a pattern can be obvious. This does not indicate the precense of some outside influence. Nor does all of your events in life. I've run into plenty of good things that just fell in my lap, I don't see a need to attribute them to any outside influence. The same logic, of course, should apply to bad things. If this winning lottery ticket has some outside influence, what about his string of horrible events?</div>
