<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>MacGuire is the emo version of Peter Parker, but I think he manages to pull it off. Spiderman has always been a wiry dude anyway, so I don't know why Toby's small stature should matter. I think Kirk Cameron would've been a better choice though : )</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The problem I have is that Peter Parker that we grew up watching on TV's supposed to be a head taller than Mary Jane and built like a real Action Hero, not a head shorter and built like Bart Simpson. I just can't picture Toby Macguire as Spiderman, it's like getting Mcaully Culkin to play Batman =P</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Personally I'd go with venom. the classic spidey villain. although they could go with a team of something like a teamup of spidey villains like rhino and shocker or some stupid crap like that</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Venom isn't a 'Classic' Spiderman villain, he was created in the 80's, almost 15 years after his debut. He was the product of a stupid storyline that the fans hated.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Lizard and the new Green Goblin (Harry) are by far the more likely choices (the latter almost for sure). The films have been far more traditional Spidey than new golden age (early 90's) or recent.....that's why the focus is so much on the human struggle part</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I could picture lizard and that would actually be pretty damn cool as he is another tragic villain like Ock. It would lead to some more interesting human struggle plotlines as spiderman mainly defeated him with words rather than fists....</div>

The movie is great. It's neck and neck between Singer and Raimi for best super hero movie director right now....</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Actually, I'm awaiting Singer's version of Logan's Run. Apparently, the author of the book wants to go back to the original roots. They couldn't do that back in the 70's, because of technology and Hollywood bullshit.</div>
