<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Starwars fans have an idea of how the story should go, but Lucas already very long ago had an idea of how the story should go; because it is different from theirs, they are dissapointed. <div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I just saw most of the originals, and I honestly can not see much difference in the styles of the films other than that the new ones have a much more refined feel to them.

One could say bad acting in the new ones, but you'd be a fool to say the original had better acting. Others say Jar Jar Binks, big deal, the originals had characters like that as well; C-3-PO, that giant dog thing that doesn't talk, that big worm thing, and other stuff.

As I said in my other post, Star Wars fans have their own ideas about how the movies should be done, that is why it is not possible to satisfy them. Similarilly to a lot of Lord of the Rings fans who hated the movies because they weren't how they wanted them to be.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>If anything, the newer ones are actually better; they feel more refined as I said above. I can at least stay awake through the whole thing (though I hated the Pod Racer scene in the first one, but there is lots of pointless stuff like that in the older ones as well).

I have heard people try to argue that The Empire Strikes back is a good movie because of the battle of Hoth; what is so special about it? It's a fairly boring part of the movie, it might have been good for those who ate up special effects back in the 80's, but it's not like that scene hasn't been outdone 100-fold in the later movies.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>-Anakin fights evil
-Christopher Lee kills Amadala
-Anakin goes crazy like Lucan did in Chrono Trigger when Ellie gets killed
-Anakin is easily persuaded by Palpateen that there must be order in the universe and that only the darkside will lead to this; during this time he kills Christopher Lee and takes his place as Darth Christianson.
-Anakin comes to terms with this, and decides to kill everyone
-Anakin is destroyed by Obi Wan Shinobi
-Anakin is rebuilt into cyborg form and becomes Darth Vader

Fill in all the rest with cheezy over the top action sequences with blazing special effects, and cheezy drama, then you have a starwars movie.</div>

I didn't really like Jar-Jar Binks (please let him die in Ep III!!!). I don't mind Anakin as long as he's not being whiny. He was awesome when he got angry. I don't think Natalie Portman is doing a very good job acting at all. I have not been impressed with her skills. I think she's one of the weakest actors out of the entire 5 movies so far.</div>
