Anyone watched Metallica's Documentary yet?

I'm not a huge fan, more of a fan in passing of the band. Still, I was very intrigued by this film. It's a very interesting look at the inner workings of a Huge band at the start of their implosion.

Ego's, addictions, work, relationships, music... Very very cool that they didn't water it down.

If nothing else, it will solidify people's belief that Lars Ulrich is a huge asshole.

The Blockbuster near me doesn't have it, although I'd like to see it. I've read that it doesn't try to make the band members look good, and that in several circumstances they come out looking quite bad.

I won't give anything away, but the guys in general besides Kirk do not come off very well at all most of the time.

Bob Rock has an ego to match Lars and James actually. He may be Canadian, but he's also an Ass.

I still love Ebert's review of that one.

I should have invited you to come to the Princess to watch it with us (that's the name of an indie theater here, folks). Wanna see Ong Bak on Saturday? Call me if you're interested
