This movie is fucking awesome beyond belief. I liked it even better than Shaolin Soccer, which was automatically one of my favorite kung-fu movies of all time. See it, you pieces of shit.

You say that in past tense. Is this movie already out?

Well, it's been out in China for a while, I'm assuming. I saw a bootleg DVD at my friend's house.

Saw a subtitled version tonight.

It's a movie that is so fucking ridiculously over the top that it's impossible to dislike.

Worth checking out.

Fansubbed? Or is it finally out on theaters?

Fansubbed. Not sure when it'll be in theatres.

Oh, and for those of you concerned that it looks like a broadway musical with kung-fu, the trailer actually shows most of those scenes. It's a bit misleading, since it's not really representative of the movie as a whole.

I saw Shaolin Soccer. It's a toss up on if Kung Pow: Enter the Fist was better or not.

Have you seen Kung Pow?

Yeah. I liked how they made fun of the technical aspects of Kung Fu films, but I thought they stretched it too thin. It had its moments, but I wouldn't place it anywhere near Shaolin Soccer.

Maybe. It's been a while since I've seen Kung Pow. By far the funniest moment was the camera zoom scene, though I get a kick out of that joke in other movies, too. Shaolin Soccer had a good scene like that, too, and of course, Army of Darkness, which I think created the joke.
