Can you download the Xbox ISO image (or whatever it is) then copy and burn it on a disk to play in a Modded Xbox?

Well, you likely can. But I'll just pick it up, play it, and then return it for store credit I'll use in the future. A whole lot less hassle.

You can, through your comp, copy an Xbox game then save it on your HD. Of course, you can also put in, say, an 80 GB HD and have MANY games on it :-)

Copy the game to my pc's hardrive, fine. I have a 200GB drive. Then wtf do I do with it?

Are there Xbox emulators out there?

You then transfer it to your Xbox HD through a LAN connection and you play it on your modded Xbox. My brother in law was doin' this 'til he got bored and sold his modded Xbox. Not sure exactly how the interface worked, I never tried it.

No modded Xbox here... yet. However I'm still a real beginner to all this PC crap as it's just recently that I have a rig capable of doing anything at all other than sputter & whimper.

I'm also discovering Mechwarrior Mercenaries all over again. Goddamn I love Battletech.

I was in a tournament at Ian's store for Mechwarrior 2 to win the game when it first came out. Man, after my second battle all I wanted to do was lose. That game stank up the joint something fierce. The other 3 players were also making fun of it while we were playing, it was kinda sad.

Mechwarrior Mercenaries is for the PC Zeus, not the Shite that is MechASSAULT which is for Xbox and what I believe you are refering to.

I do not like MechAssault, it is not Battletech. It is too arcady for me. The PC Mechwarrior games are far more simulatorish, you can totally customize your Mech to suit your play style. Literally thousands of actual usuable combinations. Ahhh, the time I've spent in the Mech Hangar.

no shit. I miss that game kinda. I loved playing in just a piddly little lightweight and just blowing off peoples legs with my big assed lazers......I think I might have to reinstall.......
