Okay, so I know we have some drinkers at least on this board...

What are your favorite alcoholic beverages right now and what are they?

<hr>

Here's how my future A.A. lineup looks:

Beer - I like beer a lot. Corona is one of my current favorites; I haven't had Rolling Rock for awhile but I used to really like that as well. I had some Indian (not Native American) beer for the first time a few weeks ago and LOVED it, I think it was called Taj Mahal, but I haven't been able to find it in stores here in L.A. I've been known to ghetto out on some Olde English from time to time too. ;)

Wine - Not so much of a wine drinker.

Liquor - Vodka is by a good margin my favorite high-proof drink, and of the ones I've tried, Belvedere is my favorite of those. I also like Absolut if I'm trying not to spend quite as much money. I really enjoy mixed drinks with Bacardi 151 (a 151 proof rum for those who don't know) as well, frankly because they FUCK ME UP like no one's business if I'm at a party.

Miscellany - I've been drinking a lot of Smirnoff Twisted lately, which is a malt drink (10 proof) that comes in several fruit flavors and have been really enjoying it. Were it not for the social implications and cost I'd practically probably be drinking that stuff like soda! It's so good...

All right...drunkie check! Who's drinking what? ;)

Sine and I both dont drink beer. Its nas-tay!

We dont drink that often to begin with, but when I do drink, I LOVE Amaretto. Amaretto sour is my favorite drink. I also love margharitas.

Sine got some kinda wine at this restaraunt we went to after the Lewis Black concert, and it was great, but I forgot what it was. It was a red wine of some sort.

When people first try beer, they usually don't like it because almost all drinks in our culture are sweet. (Coffee being the only exception I can think of off hand, but most people put cream and sugar in it.) Beer is not sweet. It takes getting used to it. But man, on a hot night, nothing is better than a cold beer.

I often prefer darker beers (like Guinness and a local kind called Oak Barrel Stout), but I'll basically drink any beer that's not shit. (Shit beer being the Bud-Lite variety.) Some pale beers are really good, like Hefeweizen and some Belgium kind I can't seem to recall.

As for wine, I'm growing to appreciate it more, but aside from white versus red, it's all basically the same to me.

I generally avoid gin, but other than that, just about any mixed drink will make me happy. I'm particularly fond of margaritas and white Russians.

I like Souts, Dark Ales and good Pilsners (thanks to Derith's Dad). Murph's Irsih and Wellington & Waterloo Darks are my fav's. If I want to drink a lot of Beer, it's usually a Keith's or Moosehead. $1.50 At Phil's.

Hard Liquor: Scotch, it can be smooth single Malt's or Paintstripper. I don't care. Pour it on some ice and I'm a happy guy.
Bourbon Manhattan. Bourbon, sweet vermouth and maybe an olive or marichino cherry.
I'm recently liking the better Vodka's. If it's a crappy vodka, I make Tucker Death Mix. RedBull, GatorAid and Vodka. Nothing gets you into crazy drunken fueled hijinxes faster than TDM.

I also like wine, but I haven't been doing much cultured drinking lately. Not the kind of thing you order in a pub around here.

Beer: I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I enjoy trying new beers for the taste. I tend to like darker beers. Not super black like Guinness, but a little more of an amber color. Some of the stuff brewed in local restaurants is pretty good.

Wine: If I drink wine, it's usually with food. Red wine with a meaty pasta's pretty good.

Liquor: I'm particularly fond of Goldschlager's. Other than that, almost any hard liquor mixed with a sweet, carbonated beverage is good enough for me.

I don't like beer because of the taste of hopps, which kinda defeats the purpose of drinking beer. I've tried many many different types of beers, and could never find one I liked. I don't buy that shit about having to be drunk to get used to the taste of beer because it's like you're accepting the fact that beer tastes like shit, and trying to drink it anyway. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to not to need to drink beer.

Jose Cuervo is a favorite of mine, though I don't mind a good whiskey. Vodka is a great mixer, but I almost never drink it straight. I might like the newer, more expensive, flavored vodkas straight, but I don't think I've tried too many of them.

Yeah Gray, you REALLY need to drink with Maritimers, Moosehead and Kieths =)

Anyways, Moosehead is the top brewery in Atlantic Canada, one of my favourite beers is Alpine lager. Generally I will like almost any lager, but my favourites are Alpine, Carlsberg, and Molson. Carlsberg is definitely my favourite beer out of Europe, and I love it.

I like almost any type of white wine, but particularly German brands. Champagne is good too, I would never get drunk off of champagne or sparkling wine though. If I had the money, I would only drink Bollinger; I usually keep a bottle of it around in case of a very special occaision; but mostly just for show since it does cost 110 bucks per bottle =P

For hard liquors, I like to have a whisky sour every now and then. Sometimes I'll do shots of stuff like Sambucca, rum, whisky, and other things. I am not too fond of hard liquors though, I don't find them enjoyable to drink.

Gin, gingerale, and whiskey also taste fairly good mixed in the right proportions, goes well with beer. Ilove the summertime!

Wine = cheap =)

Well, I like expensive wine quite a bit. Mainly I'm a beer person though. Kokanee is fairly good stuff, too bad it hasn't really caught on around here; the problem is the flavour is kind of weak on it. Guiness is VERY popular among the newfies.
