  • Pre-E3 Nintendo Revolution details

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

So those wondering if Nintendo is going to come out with some super weird system which projects 3D images; well....

-The Revolution is being described now as being very very sleek: the dimensions seem to be similar to the new model PS2, or the PS1.

-The Revolution will be using standard sized DVD's as a medium.

-Will be backwards compatable with Gamecube.

-Will be able to use WiFi connections out of the box (which isn't new information).

-High Definition support (obviously).

-Controllers will be wireless (Also not new information. Seems to be the standard this generation Microsoft also announced its controllers will be wireless).

Ok, but you left out the most important question.

Will it be televised? :p

Shut up, Eric :) They might actually use that as an annoying tag line when they put out the commericials.

Might be a stretch, but on the subject of annoying ideas picked up by game developers/marketers...

<a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?d ... 18">"Jesus, no! Shut up! Developers could be listening <i>right now.</i>"</a>

and...

<a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?d ... &res=l">"I didn't think they'd actually do it!"</a> This one refers to BMXXX, that nudie-bike-racing game that Akklaim put out to what I'm pretty sure was a sickening thud of critical and commercial rejection.

Heh, I've had the Acclaim one hanging up on my wall for a few years now, and then another beside it about Acclaim going out of business =P
