There are seven books in all, I wonder how many of these they plan to make into movies? Do they already have a plan for all of them?

Anyways, the Lion the Witch and the Woredrobe is in my opinion the least interesting book in the series. Though I can understand why they are starting with this one.

The movie looks quite good, but I still wonder if it is going to be able to capture me the way the books did when I read them all those years ago. Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings did an amazing job witht hat, I was highly impressed by those films.

I would have much rather seen CoN than LotR come to the screen. I loved those books as a child even though I don't read anymore. Needless to say I cannot wait for them to be released, if they do all of them, I'll watch all of them.

I would have probably liked to see one of the Silmarillion tales come to screen the most. It is in Tolkien's Lost Tales that my heart really lies. Lord of the Rings I like mainly for his great descriptions of another world, his mastery of describing a scene the way he does is beyond any author I have ever come across.

PS. CS Lewis and Tolkien both have a lot of other works besides their big ones Narnia and Lord fo the Rings. Lewis has some very interesting science fiction works.

While I was a big Narnia fan as a kid, I'd really prefer a good movie version of the L'Engle's Time Quartet series of books: A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, etc. It was a delightful journey into childrens' sci-fi.

Wait a minute....9 books? I only know of 7....The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, A Horse and his Boy, The Magicians Nephew, and The Last Battle. What other two are there?
