At this point in time? Bloody horrible. Show hasn't been worth watching in years.

I disagree, some of the best episodes ever have come out in the last couple of years.

This will officially mark the end of the Simpsons. If they did it in their prime, like South Park, it would work well. Not now, though.

A Family Guy movie would make more sense, even if it would be too early.

I'm going to go see it, but I have massive trepidation towards it. This could be the biggest flop of a formerly beloved commercial property since "Garfield: The Movie".

I wish they would just end the series, stop this movie crap, and churn out a season a month on DVD.

South Park had a prime?

South Park is still going strong, which is surprising, considering everybody thought it meant the end of the series (like it did for Beavis & Butthead).

I have found South Park to be sorta hit-and-miss for me...when Parker and Stone aren't being balls-out outrageous (especially about sex) I tend to find them a little flat...but then you have episodes like "Lemmiwinks" that make up for it all.

On a slight tangent still related to bounds-pushing animated series, I'm really hoping that Drawn Together comes out with a DVD set, since I
missed the first season by not having cable.

And if the Simpsons movie is well-reviewed and supposed to be funny, I'll go see it. No, the show isn't as good now, but it used to be the shit.

Drawn Together tries to parody reality TV, but just ends up being a sitcom with sitcom-like comedy (ie: dull).

That movie made alot of cash, considering how much they probley spent to actually make it. ;p

I dunno dude, some of their clips on the website are pretty hilarious.

"Now boys have a peepee, which rhyme with teepee, which is what you use to wipe yo' ass. Girls have a vagina - that I like to call giggy. Now giggy...rhyme with puppy...but not very well."

"And that's how two people who love each other very much make a welfare check. I mean, baby."

The guy who did Simpsons season 3, and 4, is the one doing this season, season 13, and if anyone has taken the time to watch any of the episodes, they are among the funniest in the history of the series. I doubt the program will go off the air though, it is still the most popular animated series on TV throughout the world. There was a recent thing on "I think Channel 4" that voted it the #1 animated show on TV; Family Guy was around 5th or something, somewhere between 5 and 10.

Drawn Together has its moments, but overall it's nothing special.

I'd expect Simpsons to win a popularity contest, but Family Guy hands down has the best comedy.

I agree with that, Family Guy is my favourite animated Show, but I would say Simpsons is my second. I only started watching it again every week recently, the last few seasons were fairly average, some good ones, some not so good ones. So far I have loved all of the latest Simpsons Episodes; and I think it has to do with the fact that the guy who did seasons 3 and 4 is doing this one.
