I get a bonus from my job for the exam and in addition i get a bonus in July for working a hard tax season. The two combined will lead me to finally being able to purchase the motorcycle i want.

I have my eye on a little 500cc Kawasaki Ninja

Most of my friends ride 600cc bikes or more, but that is really unneeded power. Like SUV's, they think they need a super powerful bike when they dont. The 500cc can keep up just fine until you get over 100mph, which will never happen. Plus, it is cheaper, lighter, has better handling, and is in a less aggressive riding position compared to the big bikes.

Anyways, i want to get a personlized plate, but you only get 6 letters for moto plates... i was thinking of trying to get Excite Bike on there somehow, but cant really think of a good combo.

Any other cool gamer references you can think of?

XTEBKE

EXTBKE

I think EXCTBK might be the clearest.

Makes the most sense, phonetically anyway.

This thread reminds me of that old game show that used to be on USA, "Bumper Stumpers". Anybody else ever watch that?

why not just "EXCITE" or similar (though i imagine it may be taken).

make them connect the word on the plate with the thing it's on. sly and understated, and so slickly subversive, gamer cred!

I've actually wanted a motorcycle for awhile. getting up above 100mph i can see could easily be fun - i was doing 60mph on a l.a. freeway once in my car and a motorcycle BLEW by me - easily passed me faster than anyone i've ever seen - popping a wheelie, no less. while i doubted his/her sanity, i did have to give him/her props on sheer skills.

it is necessary to keep in mind, i think, though, that wiping out at 100+ mph on a bike is a pretty reliable method of making sure your funeral is both imminent and closed casket. that's a pretty humpty dumpty way to go right there.

I'd love to have a motorcycle. I just don't trust other drivers enough not to hit me. Granted, a car doesn't mean your safe, but moreso than on a motorcycle.

It would be fun though. I'll have to live vicarioulsy through Flip. :)

I also agree. Just looking at it makes sense.

Don't forget, Flip, the Virginia DMV's website lets you check license plate availablilty online.

Can help you narrow things down.

ITSAME

The Excitebike reference is the best, though. The one everyone agreed upon is the best way too
