Whomever the fuck is writing and directing Battlestar Galactica should be nominated for an Emmy, multiple emmy's. I'm talkin take the entire fucking show by storm. Never, NEVER in my life have I had a show do this to me. I'm watching it right now, just picked it up today from BB.

Water...

Pomp and circumstance? Right out the airlock along with 21JP's of water. Acting is getting better. Need more character development. Double lives are difficult to follow. Need more...

booze...

Bastille Day

Problems, a load of them. Drink them away, with what water though? The brown kind. Didn't figure orange jumpsuits were in style this year. Gettin a little lazy? Tired? Time to see the doctor, check for cancer, or cylons.

Act of Contrition

All about Starbuck. What has gotten into this girl? And what is about to come out? Take a bite out of Hotdog. By the way, how about that cylon detector?

It's about time with the captain. Of course, I'm not going to spoil it for Barret, so I'll leave further discussion about recent shit on a new thread.

Maybe I ought to bite on this. Years of lackluster, post-Next Generation TV sci-fi have left me jaded, but I do like it, and even Entertainment Weekly is pumping this one...

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

How could one so cute do so much damage? She was doing so good too. Controlling the cylon within her. Anyone get a flashback of NGE while she was aboard the basestar? OMG, that was freaky, but kinda hot. Anyway, so Adama has been shot. The president and Lee are both in Jail. The doctor, the cheif, and Crashdown are all marooned on Cobal. Starbuck is banged up pretty bad, not to mention she now knows Boomer is a cylon. I figured Helo would have had her shoot her anyway even though she is pregnant. Two babies on the way? Apollo's arrow will lead the way to Earth. Who is the 13th tribe? Anyone else notice all of the religious references? Were these in the original series? 12 tribes of Israel? 12 apostles, 12 Zodiac signs, the roman and greek God references. The cylon woman's references to A true God. Is Dr. Baltar really that much of a horn dog that he can't see he's being manipulated? Sometimes he's strong, othertimes he's like a child. When is Season 2 over? Torrents for it and the mini-series anyone?

Torrents for Battlestar Galactica are quite easy to find if you have any sort of idea on how to search for them.

Season 2 will be a quarter through after tonight's episode.

Heh, that was fast, Barret. Anyway, I think the Dr is sort of playing both sides and seeing this one out. He knows he's being manipulated, but he also knows that she still has his best interests in mind, and has saved him countless times. I think he believes (and to some degree, myself) that the Cylons are testing the humans and trying to bridge the two races in some way.

They have a weird "higher" way of thinking, like they want to put the entire race in danger without making them extinct. In the end, I don't think they are completely the enemy, and that's mainly what this muddling of lines (with both Boomers, Baltar's mate, etc.) is all about. Most everybody regards them as "toasters" with no feelings and not even considered to be life, but the new models turn everything upside down.
