I'd never heard of this guy. Apparently back in the 80's he successfully hijacked a plane, got $200,000 and some parachutes in ransom money, then ordered the crew to fly to Mexico and used one of the parachutes to jump out. He was never found.
I'm sure it had to suck in real life, but it still sounds kind of cool.
