Look at me! I bought GAMES!

Made a few purchases yesterday and this is how sad it is... The last time i bought a PS2 game, it was Katamari Damacy a month ago, before that it was the Megaman collection and before that it was Castlevania on the release date. That is, what, 3 games in 3 years? The last game i've bought for the computer was Half-Life 2. Granted, i did buy the PSP and some games this year, so i guess i cant say i've completely lost touch with the gaming world.

I picked up Radiata Stories (have been really craving an RPG lately) and the sequel to Katamari Damacy, We Love Katamari.

Radiata is by the Star Ocean people and is supposed to be real good with excellent voice acting and beautiful music. I havent started it yet, but i'm expecting some good things, it has a real time battle system so things should be Kingdom Heart'ish.

The manual and the back of the box of We Love Katamari looks like the same game with more levels. Which is fine with me, the first one was tons of fun and this one continues the goodness.

I'll write something when i actually start playing these.

I thought about getting another RPG but Shining Force Neo looks more promising. Then again, Shining Tears didn't exactly go too well.

I went to EB on Tuesday to pick up WLK and Indigo Prophecy: "Sorry, this is just the ship date, new release games aren't in stores on Tuesdays anymore." (Damn.)

I called EB yesterday morning to see if they had come in: "We have We Love Katamari, but Indigo Prophecy got delayed until the end of the week." (Damn!)

I borrowed a friend's version of Kingdom Hearts to check it out in the meantime - when I clicked "new game", his used disc uselessly spun in my PS2, meaning I was stuck playing more Jade Empire for the night. (DAMN!!!!!!)


Will be getting my new games on Saturday.

I'm three hours into Digital Devil Saga. I adore it so far - this is quite possibly the most bizarrely fucked up setting I've seen in an RPG, and the plot tone matches.

Since I hear such great things about it, and the sequel supposedly is even better, I'm really looking forward to playing more of it.

Buddy of mine picked up We Love Katamari for me yesterday, so I'll have that too.
