Are you sure you applied the correct patch?

That's why on your stats page it looks like you have all the requirements for the next three promotions (up to Staff Sgt, Gunnery is 8k). Dice lowered the promo levels, among some other changes.

I patched to 1.03 when it came out two weeks ago after I signed up for the subscription for fileplanet. I guess since I haven't played a game online yet it hasn't updated my profile. It still says the same thing on my BFHQ profile. I guess I'll wait and see.

I wonder why DICE lowered the requirements? You got any thoughts on that?
