  • Bought Guitar Hero last night

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

So far I like it a lot. I am almost done with easy, but I can already tell i need to work on the advance techniques to do the harder levels. I tried an expert for the hell of it and I was like DAMN!

Just go through the process in order. The game is extremely good at bringing you along very well in terms of increasing difficulty level.

Unlike DDR. The transition from Light to Normal is extremely annoying.

I picked it up on Friday myself. Damn, this game is sweet.

Just made it through Easy. I have to go outside to get rid of this stupid snow we received, then I'll tackle medium.

I actually remember light to normal taking me awhile in DDR, but from normal to heavy it was really quick

Where did you get it? I've been calling around the damned EBs to get one for my father-in-law. Damn them..

When you get to hard, call me. I'd LOVE to play some Hard or Expert multiplayer

My business partner picked it up, intending to keep it in the office for a "break" every now and then. We took our first - and last - "break" today, assuming you can call a two-hour jamfest a "break".

After that, in the interest of actually ever doing any fucking work in the office, we collectively decided to keep it at his apartment instead.

I will probably get it in about two or three weeks, when my project is finally done.

I do have to say that the whammy bar is nice, though. I keep wishing I could pitch-bend "up" with it too...

I got through the entire game without ever being able to get Hammer-Ons or Pull-Offs, so don't fret (heh) about it too much. Just make sure you can use your pinky like your middle finger. Took me a while too, but you'll get used to it
