Just wondering...I noted that Lox said he was becoming more a part of his church, and I've been to any sort of church service maybe five or six times in my life. Made me curious as to the religious makeup of our pocket of cyberspace.

Technically, I'm Greek Orthodox, so I'm not really sure where that fits. I guess I"ll have to be Agnostic or Aethiest then :-)

Greek Orthodox, that is an interesting one. I guess Catholic, but SO MUCH cooler than Roman Catholic; since you would follow The Patriarch of Constantinople instead of the Pope of Rome.

Am I getting it right? I don't know a lot about the religion except from what I learned when researching while playing Xenosaga =P

Hey Kali, speakin of Jewish faith...

When a Jewish co-worker's family member dies...is it general practice to give that person monetary donations, or the regular flowers, cards, etc?

We had someone who is Jewish have a family member pass away. In the email that went out it was asked because she is Jewish to not send flowers, but send money.

I was raised Jewish, and I've never heard of that.

I wanna know who the other taoist is. I don't even really consider Taoism a religion.

Haha, two Taoists!

And yeah, Taoism as a religion, I dunno. I put it in the same box as confucianism, more of a moral code.

Uhh...no. Unless it is to a charity.

I mean I can't say for sure - I'm not a practicing jew (except at family things). Maybe it's a hasidic jew thing...sounds ridiculous though.

Agnostic Spiritualist. I guess that wasn't one of the choices.

Sounds similar certain denominations of Buddhism. I am not sure. Do we have anyone here who knows a great deal about the religion?
