Well well well, you guys are all still around? Haha it's nice to see some things don't change.
I don't remember when I left...hell I forget why, but it was a long time ago and a lot has changed since then.
A little about my most recent happenings: I recently graduated from Penn State with a bachelors in IST (Information Sciences and Technology) and am now living back at home working full time as an Information Security Administrator for ICT Group. I LOVE my job, it started last year as an internship and I enjoyed it so much and my boss really liked me so I worked part time remotely from school all year, and this week was my first full time week as a salaried employee.
ICT Group-- a worldwide corporation that runs call centers (outgoing and incoming calls) for other companies. We have 40-some call centers around the world, including the Philipines, India, Australia, Europe, and Canada/US. My job is to keep things secure, obviously. I run the Websense Internet Filtering (I rule the Intarweb!), the VPN, Security Policies, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Sensors, etc. Hell I even have an intern already, it's great!
Uhm...oh yeah, I bought my first car too! A 2006 Honda Civic EX Coupe...I fucking love it. I was really lucky in getting it too, they're the hottest car this year for good reason. I happened to snag a deposit on one on my way home from college.
So yeah...that's new with me I guess...what did I miss around here?
