You know, I almost wonder whether or not all of this might actually have been the result of a script bug.

Ding, ding, ding! Seriously, I think most people here have thought something like this all along. Either you made a mistake, or the script did. And seeing as how I almost clicked on "Edit" for your post as opposed to "Quote," it seems possible. The disturbing thing has been how you clung to the "Kali hacked the board" theory, which is the least likely explanation of all.

It's because it seems like a pretty unlikely bug to me. You know more about CS than I do...but it's not like my post showed up with kali's name on it. The one I posted was different...only the line about SOTN showed up in his.

Having text strings collide and get mishmashed in that way without the presence of control characters or other text artifacting is never, ever something I've seen in any code or bugs I've worked with, and I've been coding in C++ for thirteen years now as well has having three professional programming positions. But it is a possibility, however remote.

The truth is that I suspect kali. Condescension of the kind he regularly issues (and I'm aware of the hypocrisy here regarding my treatment of Don, but he's been at it far longer) generally makes me suspect that he doesn't have much regard for others. And honestly, I think I probably pissed him off.
