What to play?

Glorious, glorious half-day...I can probably fry my brain with six hours of gaming today.

I'm leaning toward FFX-2 instead of FFXI. As fun as combat in FFXI is, the lack of plot and sucky group dynamics (read: bad and/or slow players) make it hard to compete with a plot, and CG-quality cutscenes in FFX-2.

What do you all recommend?

I havent played FFXI in a while. Ive been getting the itch lately..but Ive pretty much stopped playing MMO's...they take up too much of my precious time.

FFX-2 is odd. I feel like I'm playing a Japanese version of Charlie's Angels, only with less believability and more flamboyant costumes.

I would choose FFX-2 over FF11 at any time. I, however, am not at all into level grinders.

If you want an opinion on what to play other than those two, and you have the time for it, try looking back at older games. I still find that I have a lot of fun picking up games such as Illusion of Gaia, Super Mario World, Sonic the hedgehog 1 and 2, phantasy Star, etc...

Japanses Charlie's Angels is about the best way to describe FFX-2. It was pretty decent, I thought. I liked the ability to change classes mid-battle.
