Bought this game this weekend. It is a motorcycle racing simulator by the makers of Gran Tourismo.
You can see the GT influence everywhere, but that is not a bad thing since the GT games are really good and their menu layout/customization is almost unmatched. There is the typical get your liscence, win bikes, race bikes system. I am not that far yet, only have a few bikes, and the one thing that is constant is that this game is friggin hard. GT was hard, but this is even harder. It is lots of fun, and probably about as real as it gets. Trying to win my favorite bikes is tough, but very rewarding when you get it right and even better when you race a track the way it is supposed to be run. The one annoyance is that you basically need to memorize a track to ever beat it. You need to know which turns you can accel early out of, which ones need severe break mashing, and which ones you can survive taking the inside track in, etc, and that only comes with playing the track and losing on it over and over until you finally get it right.
