This section seems to be taken from the very beginning of the game. So far from what we have seen, the gameworld itself seems to be largely based off of the original. Uematsu's tunes have also been preserved; which is great, because this game had really great music, possibly the best on NES.
Though it seems that the game does not unfold as it originally did. Originally when you fall into that dungeon you are 4 Onion Knights, this only shows a single Onion Knight, which I assume will become the main character.
