<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>Yep. I used to beat him up and take his lunch money and sleep with his girlfriends. That's probably why he was a segregationist for a while after. He was afraid someone else would take what was once his. BTW....why aren't you honey-mooning somewhere exotic? What are you doing here?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I'm sure that each one of them had their own reasons for doing so... although in Strom Thurmonds case I think it was probably purely political.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '><i>"Boy, I tell ya, politics makes for strange bedfellows. That's true, man. I read a quote in the paper two days after the election from Saddam Hussien, and he said...oh, they had to wait two days to get a quote from him, you know. They had to wait for him to quit GUT laughing in some bunker in Baghdad. [Imitates gut laughing] Hahahahahaha...the elephant is dead! Saddam Hussien says in this quote, 'We have nothing against America. We just want to see George Bush beheaded and his head kicked down the road like a soccer ball.' And I was thinking, 'Well, that's so weird, cuz that's what -I- wanted to see.' Wow...me and Hussien, we're like THIS! Who would have thunk it?"</i> -- Bill Hicks, "Me and Saddam" from Arizona Bay.</div>

Probably about the same level as Wallace, though I'd say Strom is the bigger hypocrite since he fathered a daughter by his black house made in the 20's. I'd heard about this somewhere before, but Slate has an interesting article on it...</div>
