Any Ubuntu users in the house?

I'm trying to load up my old laptop with Ubuntu to hopefully get some basic use out of it... Only problem so far is getting the wireless adapter to work.

I'm using a Linksys USB adapter (WUSB56G) and even though the gui's don't seem to want to work... iwconfig shows me I am working and connected to an AP... my AP after some configuration, but I can't seem to give it my WPA key.

This is a long shot, anyone work with Ubuntu, or Linux, and Wireless?

Used to be. I heard a friend really raving about MEPIS, saying it's to Ubuntu like Ubuntu was to Debian.
