Read Lox's post below. Essentially they posted about the PSP feature we knew about years ago, but mixed it up with the DS thinking it was something new.

Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed to New York Times that full DS games will soon be able to be downloaded using the Nintendo Wii; it was already known that Demoes would be downloadable. This site also speculates of a possible handheld virtual console to be added. No other information was given as of yet.
