I'm not a huge mech gearhead, but I've suddenly wanted to get into a good one the past few weeks. When I picked up DMC4, I also grabbed a used copy of Armored Core 4. I will be taking it back tomorrow. (I'm also taking about N3, but that's another story...)
Reviews of that and Chromehounds aren't very good, either. Much to my dismay, both are made by the same company, and nobody else is making a mech game for the 360.
Zone of the Enders 2 was the last mech game I played, and though it probably wasn't your typical customize-heavy mech game, it was one of the best games I've ever played. I never had so much fun with mech battles than with this one, and I probably never will at this rate...
